SUBCONTRACTOR WANTED: FRAMING, CLADDING & FIXOUT CARPENTERS

JOB DESCRIPTION 

AR Developments require subcontractor Carpenters to assist in the construction and delivery of our townhouse developments.  

SCOPE OF WORK 

2 Storey and 3 Storey, 3- & 4-Bedroom Townhouses 

Framing – Stick Frame Labour includes all works associated with Erecting of all external and internal walls frames inclusive of straightening as per plans, Verification of joist layouts, Installation of all roof members, engineered floor systems including joists, blocking and sheeting, All bracing and Tie down, install of all cavity slider frames, external pitching beams and posts, all stacks, chases and bulkheads as required, engineered Boral Partiwall systems, blocking for fixtures, ceiling access hole, baths and spas excluding plumbing, garage door opening jambs, aluminium windows and sliding doors, entry doors, locks and pre-drilled deadbolts and must comply with AS1684-2010 unless specified otherwise.  

Cladding – Enclosed Carpentry Labour includes all works associated with Cladding, Eaves/Soffits & Bulkheads 

Fix Out labour for the internal areas include but is not limited to, Door jambs & Doors hung, skirting boards fitted around the base of the wall and architraves fixed around all windows and doors excluding robe fit-out.  

JOB SITE DESCRIPTION 

McDowall Residences is a new residential townhouse community only 13km north of Brisbane’s CBD currently under construction in Stages 1 & 2. Our site plan covers 127 units in total over 5 stages, in a variety of designs and block sizes.  

There are several lay-down areas where materials can be accessed with Onsite and Street parking available, internal parking can be discussed with the Site Manager between operating hours of 6.30 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday. The site will be closed on Public Holidays.
